Last my tree

The last post for the year is about my tree that I have been observing all semester.
This tree was the largest one I could see from my bedroom window. This tree is so large
it is hard to see if there is any buds or flowers, now that the spring time is approaching.
I thought there would be leaves by now. I think there is at least buds. I do not see any flowers
or leaves. Based on what we predicted in the beginning of class, I thought the trees would
have leaves by now. We had a late spring because there was snow in late March and April.
I do not think our class anticipated having a late spring. I would have thought by the end of
april here would be leaves and in full bloom.

It is different living in an apartment compared to a dorm. It is different living in an apartment
and not in a house. We do not have a lawn or a porch to enjoy the outdoors. I live in an apartment
now and no longer in a house at home in Massachusetts. I now have more of an appreciation
for the outdoors because I have certain trees I see every day from my apartment views. At school
I have the view of my tree both from my bedroom window and my living room.
This was the largest tree around. There are a few decorative trees in the parking lot but
I wanted to do a tree with more of a history. Recently Keene has lost a historic tree on
Winchester Street. The tree was around 100 years old. I believe this tree also is around the
same age because it is so large. Now that the Winchester Tree is not there the street looks
different while crossing onto campus. The tree was lost to a storm. If my tree were to also
be struck down by a storm my view would also be altered. This tree had an impact on my
everyday life because it was what I looked at every day from my window.
